Drawing Tree Vector Graphic
Life is an unpredictable thing and you never know what you will have to do tomorrow, which goal you’ll be trying to achieve doing your best! That’s why we decided to help you in case this goal will be drawing a vector tree!😃
We think that the vector tree is a really useful stuff. For example, you can’t draw a forest… Or just imagine how good you can be in portraying the seasons of the year with the tree and it’s leaves!
Ok, probably, it doesn’t sound very persuasively 😅 But still, there is a chance that one day you might need to draw a majestic vector tree and you will remember that there is one cool tutorial which might be of a great help 😉 So we are getting started!
For now, unfortunately, it is quite difficult (but not impossible!) to draw a stem in Vectr, so we recommend you to visit Iconfinder.com or Flaticon.com where you can get stems in SVG/PNG formats. You can save the image to your PC and upload it into Vectr as it shown on the GIF below. In the nearest future, we will upgrade our drawing tools and add tracing feature, so it will be much easier to draw a tree vector by yourself or even to scratch freehand at the paper and trace it in Vectr!
A leaf vector is the most important part of any tree vector and it is really easy to create! The right thing to begin with would be drawing a line with the pen tool (don’t be afraid to make a long one, because it’s easier to work with and you can always make it smaller) and bending it in a leaf form by double-clicking it and dragging the anchor points. When one side is done you can just copy and paste it! You can copy your object by using Ctrl+C on Windows or Command+C on Mac. To paste it, press Ctrl+V or Command+V.
In order to color the leaves use the background color section in the right toolbar. Don’t forget, you can always choose the color by its code, so there’s no need to look for the perfect match! ☝️
To make the leaf more realistic, you can add up some leaf veins. Just repeat the second step but with a bit smaller line in the middle of the leaf :)
Hanging leaves on the tree vector one by one will take so much time, so grouping three or four of them together is a smart decision. Use this way and get an extra coffee break ☕ You can also bring some diversity by coloring or rotation.
You are able to give a life to your tree vector by hanging the leaf groups on it. Just select one and drag it to the branch!
The world might want to witness your great work! In order to share or save it to your PC, use Export button at the top right corner 😎
Look what we got at the end!
