Vectr 1.4 Brings Grouping Of Layers
Hi there dear Vectr users! Hope it’s going great for all of you. While you are creating your graphic designs, our team is working hard making the app work faster and developing new features you ask us for. Never hesitate to reach out to us with any feedback - we appreciate it so much!
Today’s bi-weekly update brings one of the most awaited features on the list - grouping of layers. Now you are able to manipulate the layers in the objects in groups, making the designing workflow easier and more flexible. See how to group, and to expand object groups, in this video tutorial we have prepared for you:
First you should select the layers you want to group by either holding Command on Mac or Ctrl on Windows and selecting them from the layers menu. Alternatively, you can simply select the objects from the workspace with a rectangle selection. Then right/double click the selected objects and choose Group option.
Now you can lock or make invisible several layers as a group.
When you want to expand the group of layers, same way just double click/right click the group and select Expand Group. Now the layers can be again manipulated individually :)
