Vectr 1.16: New Interactive Lesson & Tutorials, Facebook Embedding
a year ago
Dear friends, welcome new version of Vectr - 1.16 🚀🙌 In this version we’re releasing a new lesson for both new and existing users to enjoy, as well as Facebook embedding. Now you can publish your designs to Facebook and they will look nicely embedded into the timeline. We have also smashed a number of annoying bugs.
Let’s see what’s new in detail! 👇
New Lesson: Layers
Learn how to work with layers in Vectr! Learn how to hide, lock, rename layers and manage the structure of your designs. Hope it’s useful and entertaining for you 👍
Check out the YouTube video that comes with the tutorial too ;)
New Tutorial: How To Create A Simple Flyer or Poster
We have also published a new tutorial on how to create simple and good looking flyers and posters in Vectr 📜 Be sure to check it out! We dedicated the flyer to Mother’s day which is coming up pretty soon.
Finally it’s possible to embed your Vectr designs into Facebook timeline! All you need to do is to post the unique Vectr project URL and the image will embedd automatically. Here are some of the designs our users have shared in our Vectr Community Facebook group:

Bug Fixes And Performance Improvements
- We have fixed the issue with .AI and .EPS files being grayed out in the upload file dialog. Now it all works perfectly 🖖
- Better snapping and guideline drawing when inserting new objects. We are continuing to work on snapping, your feedback is much appreciated here! Be sure to reach out via support window and let us know what you think.
- Better handling of huge files. We are working now towards supporting larger files without problems in the future, thanks for being patient on that one 🙌
- New users now automatically get the temporary design they were editing added to their new account once they register.
Just wanted to let you know that we’re continuing working on the designs marketplace! In the following months we should have the first mockups and sketches of how it’s going to look and work 🔜
Thanks for being part of our lovely and growing user community! See you in two weeks :)
In the meanwhile, you’re most welcome to join our Facebook Vectr Community! We regularly post useful information and inspirational projects there.
We really hope designing with Vectr is easy and fun for you!
