Vectr 1.10: WordPress Plugin Launched And Two New Interactive Lessons
4 months ago
Dear friends, please welcome Vectr version 1.10! We’ve got quite big and important updates over the last two weeks. Most importantly: we have officially launched our embedded editor WordPress plugin, and added two new lessons to the onboarding process. Now, let’s talk about it all in detail :)
Vectr WordPress Plugin Launched
WordPress plugin is the first plugin we’re releasing at Vectr. It’s built on top of Vectr’s embedded editor API, which we are going to develop further over time. Over the upcoming months we’re going to release more plugins for CMS and ecommerce platforms: in plans are Shopify, Joomla, Droopal.
If you still don’t have a WordPress blog here’s a good tutorial on how to start a blog.
Embedded editor in your WordPress is perfect for editing / creating:
- Annotated images
It’s going to be a great fit for the toolkit of most bloggers, social media managers, marketing professionals. We really hope that you enjoy it!
New Interactive Lessons: Paths And Workspace Tools
Welcome two more interactive lesssons available inside of Vectr! Now you can easily learn how to use path tool and workspace tools.
Path tool in Vectr is really powerful, and yet intuitive! See the GIF from the lesson below, and remember you can always check it out yourself ;)
Workspace tools, on the other hand, are perfect for manipulating multiple shapes. You can bring the shapes forwards / backwards, or use merge, substract, intersect tools.
Even if you already know how to use them, you may still go through the tutorials for the sake of fun and making sure you know it all :)
Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements
We worked a lot during the last two weeks on making Vectr more stable. There were also a couple of bugs fixed related to editing paths: now inserting path points works perfect!
Happy Chinese New Year!
It’s been the period of Chinese New Year! We wish you all an amazing year of the Rooster :)
You’re most welcome to join our Facebook Vectr Community! We regularly post useful information and inspirational projects there.
We really hope designing with Vectr is easy and fun for you!
See you in two weeks!
